What is SW Prime?
SW Prime is your on-demand rideshare service for the Southwest Twin Cities area. With just a few taps on our SW Prime app or a quick call, you can request a ride from your current location to your destination.
Our shared ride service is convenient and reliable, with ADA-compliant vehicles to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and bikes.
Prime isn’t just for everyday errands or commutes, it’s perfect for doctor appointments and meeting up with friends.
If you are within a designated zone in Eden Prairie, you may catch a ride in one of our Autonomous Vehicles (AVs). These vehicles offer seamless, stop-to-stop transportation for our riders.

Monday - Friday
5:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Last ride requests must be made by 6:30 PM
Saturday
6:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Last ride requests must be made by 5:00 PM
How to book a ride
Rides can be requested using the SW Prime mobile app (available to download via the App Store or Google Play) or by calling 952-SW-PRIME (952)-797-7463.
Team members will be available to assist with phone reservations:
5:00 AM – 6:30 PM Monday – Friday
5:30 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday
SW Prime service is unavailable: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day
Service area
The primary service area for SW Prime includes Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, Chaska, Carver, and Victoria. You can book a curb-to-curb ride within the primary service area.
Additional destinations to/from the primary service area include select locations in Shakopee, Edina, Normandale Community College, and specific medical clinics in neighboring cities for non-emergency medical appointments.

Connections to downtown Minneapolis and University of Minnesota will be made at East Creek Station (Chaska), SouthWest Village (Chanhassen), and SouthWest Station (Eden Prairie).
Certain destinations in the service area have designated drop-off/pick-up locations:

- Eden Prairie Mall drop-off/pick-up is at the mall entrance next to the Target store.
- SouthWest Station (Eden Prairie) drop-off/pick-up is Gate C.
