Bus Route Service

SW Transit offers bus service from three convenient park and ride stations in Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, and Chaska. Major destinations include downtown Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, the Mall of America, and MSP Airport.

Getting you where you want to go

Routes best for riders commuting to and from downtown Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota. Service available Monday – Friday only.

  • 600: Reverse commute (East to West) from downtown Minneapolis. Route starts at Gateway Ramp & Platform. Stops include 4 along Marquette Avenue, I-35W & Lake St Station, Southdale Transit Center & Gate C, 8 stops in Eden Prairie, and our park and ride stations.
  • 695: Service to the University of Minnesota. Route starts at our park and ride stations. Stops include I-35W & Lake St Station, 5th Ave S & 7th St S, 2 stops along 4th St S, Anderson Hall (West Bank), Coffman Union (East Bank), Oak St SE & Delaware St SE.
  • 698: Direct to downtown Minneapolis, with earliest departures. Route starts at our park and ride stations. Stops include 3 on 12th St S, 5 along 2nd Ave S, and 2 on Washington Ave.
  • 698U: Direct to downtown Minneapolis & the University of Minnesota. Route starts at our park and ride stations. Stops include 3 on 12th St S, 5 along 2nd Ave S, Washington Ave S & 3rd Ave/4th Ave, 2 stops on 4th St S, Anderson Hall (West Bank), Coffman Union (East Bank), Oak St SE & Delaware St SE.

600, 695, 698, 698U bus route service is unavailable New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (Observed), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

One route, two ways to ride. Best for riders heading to the Mall of America or MSP Airport. Express service is available 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Sunday. Local service is available 5:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday – Friday only.

  • 686X (Express Service): Route starts at SouthWest Station (Eden Prairie) and provides fast, direct service to the Mall of America and MSP Airport (Terminals 1 & 2) with no stops in between.
  • 686L (Local Service): Route starts at SouthWest Station (Eden Prairie) and includes 17 stops along I-494 like Normandale Lake Office Park, Southtown Shopping Center, Best Buy Headquarters, the Mall of America and MSP Airport (Terminals 1 & 2)

686L and 686X bus route service is unavailable New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
